The Walking Dead universe Inspire Your Heart with Art Day

January 31 is National Inspire Your Heart with Art Day. This is a day set aside to explore the different facets of art and appreciate the inspiration from music, art, theater, films, and any other form of art you enjoy. The Walking Dead universe has many great actors, and several of these people express their creativity in other ways besides acting.

The fandom has many artists who use their talents to create unique works featuring TWDU actors and characters. Each artist has their individual style creating a beautiful world of fan art that will often leave you in awe of the talent of these artists.

The Walking Dead artists

Many actors on The Walking Dead series’ are extremely talented in the acting world, but several also expressed their creativity in other ways.

Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl Dixon on The Walking Dead, is an avid photographer who takes the macabre and makes it beautiful. You can see his work on his site bigbaldgallery.com 

Xander Berkeley, who portrayed the leader of Hilltop, Gregory, in the series, has a fantastic art style. He paints portraits with a unique flair that makes you feel like you are looking into the subject’s soul. You can see his work via his website. 

Jeremy Palko portrayed the Hilltop resident Andy. He has a great painting style using vibrant colors that make his artwork POP! I have previously described his art as something from a dream. Check out his work here. 

Emily Kinney played Beth in the early seasons of The Walking Dead. Her character often sang during episodes, so it was no surprise that she would have a career in music. Check her out on Spotify. 

Peter Luis Zimmerman portrayed everyone’s favorite Hilltop guard, Eduardo. He has now expanded to music, photography and short films. Check out his site PLZ pictures for his amazing photos and information on his films. You can listen to his music on Spotify. 

Josh Mikel played a Savior by the name of Jared. He is also the drummer for the band Let’s Be Ghosts. Check them out on Instagram. 

Oscar Rodriguez III, who has played a walker and whisperer on The Walking Dead, is also a talented artist. He works with multiple mediums and has an excellent talent for TWD comic recreations.  Check out his work on Instagram.
