The seventh season of the series met our survivors with a new landscape and atmosphere thanks to cult leader Teddy Maddox (John Glover) and his nuclear bomb. He convinced his followers that “The end is the beginning,” and they needed to detonate the bombs to begin anew. Little did they know he had a bunker ready to hide out in while he would leave them to die.

The first part of season seven saw the survivors fighting walkers and figuring out how to survive the fallout that has covered everything. Of course, Victor Strand (Colman Domingo) has come out on the other side of this unscathed. He is sitting pretty in his Tower, which was far enough away from the blast as to avoid all the fallout.

But, by the end of part 1 of this season, Victor managed to make an enemy of his one-time good friend, Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey), who has now declared war on him.

Many exciting things are yet to come in this series, including the war between Strand and Alicia and the announcement that Madison (Kim Dickens) will be returning.

What will this mean for the war between Madison’s daughter and her good friend? Madison has always put her children before everything, but she has a lot to deal with upon her return. Her son Nick (Frank Dillane) has been killed, and Charlie (Alexa Nisenson), who shot him, is part of the group.  How will she take this information?
