Let’s check out what has happened in The Walking Dead universe this week and the upcoming weekend. AMC will air the midseason premiere of Fear the Walking Dead’s seventh season on Sunday, April 17, at 9 p.m. ET. AMC+ will roll out the first two episodes of the back half of season seven this same day. The remaining episodes from this season will be available on this service one week earlier.
Episode 709, “Follow Me,” was written by Andrew Chambliss & Ian Goldberg and directed by Heather Cappiello. The synopsis for the episode reveals that Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) will meet a mysterious stranger and take refuge in their home. She is still battling the fevers that she has been experiencing since her walker bite, and Arno (Spenser Granese), the leader of the Stalkers, is still chasing after her.
The most exciting news for the second part of the seventh season is the return of Madison Clark (Kim Dickens).
If you haven’t viewed it yet, the Fear TWD spinoff, Dead in the Water, is available only on AMC+. This episode looks at the crew aboard the USS Pennsylvania on the eve of the outbreak. Nick Stahl reprises his role as Riley from Fear TWD.
