Fear the Walking Dead season 7 episode 15 release date
By Renee Hansen
Fear the Walking Dead is quickly burning through its seventh season. The back half of the season has been met with less than favorable reviews by viewers. The first several episodes were character-centric, doing much building of characters which displeased fans as they were hoping to see the war between Strand and Alicia begin right away.
Last week’s episode, “The Raft,” saw Morgan and Mo leave via a raft to find a safe place to live. At the beginning of the episode, Dwight and Sherry encounter a woman who came from a place free from the fallout of the nuclear bomb. It makes sense for Morgan to scout for somewhere other than where they currently live, where the undead and the atmosphere work against them. This journey is also a way for the creators to transition a move as filming will begin in Georgia for the eighth season.
In this episode, Dwight and Sherry discover they are expecting a child, another reason to move away from the fallout zone. And one significant development was that Strand’s walker horde, his first line of defense for the Tower, followed Morgan away from the location, making it ripe for Alicia and her army to attack.
AMC will air the next episode, “Divine Providence,” on Sunday, May 22, at 9 p.m.
The synopsis for this episode:
"As the battle for the Tower heats up, Alicia brings the fight to Strand’s front door."
Fear the Walking Dead season 7 episode 15
The next episode in season 7B is titled “Amina” and will premiere on AMC+ on Sunday, May 22. This episode will air on AMC on Sunday, May 29, at 9 p.m. ET.
Editors Note: 5/23/2021 AMC Plus answered an inquiry as many AMC+ subscribers are still unable to view this episode. They say they are working on fixing the issue with Amazon.
“Amina” marks the 100th episode of Fear the Walking Dead, a major milestone. For such an iconic episode, showrunners Andrew Chambliss & Ian Goldberg stepped in to write, and Walking Dead Universe veteran Michael Satrazemis directed it. Chambliss and Goldberg began writing for Fear TWD in season 4 when they also became co-showrunners for the series. Satrazemis has worked on TWD since directing his first episode, “The Grove,” from season 4. He would join Fear TWD as a director in season 4 and has directed three of the six episodes of season 1 of the Tales of the Walking Dead spinoff series that will release this summer.
This episode has long been thought to be the one that will see the return of Madison Clark. Amina is the name of a bird that Nick and Alicia cared for while they were on vacation when they were young. Madison told this story to Al during her interview, and as she was reluctant to give Al her name, Al titled her tape, Amina. Only time will tell if this episode will finally see the reappearance of Madison.
The synopsis for this episode:
"As the survivors prepare to escape the area by raft, Alicia turns back to save one more person trapped in the fallout."
After this episode, Fear the Walking Dead has only one episode remaining in its seventh season.
