Talking Dead: The Walking Dead Universe Preview this summer

Comic Con 2022 is in full swing, and on day two of the event, The Walking Dead universe will take over Hall H for two panels. The Walking Dead will host its final, while the spinoff Tales of the Walking Dead will host its first. Both panels will be moderated by Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick. Expectations are high regarding the news that will be revealed for TWDU at SDCC 2022.

Tales of the Walking Dead will host its panel first on Friday, July 22, at 12:30 p.m. PT in Hall H.

Guests include Scott Gimple, showrunner Channing Powell and director and EP Michael Satrazemis. Cast members scheduled to appear include Terry Crews, Samantha Morton and Danny Ramirez.

The Walking Dead will follow with its panel on Friday, July 22, at 1:30 p.m. PT in Hall H.

Gimple will attend this panel with Angela Kang, Greg Nicotero and  Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Christian Serratos, Ross Marquand, Seth Gilliam, Josh McDermitt, Michael James Shaw, Cailey Fleming, and Lauren Ridloff. Sadly, Khary Payton had to bow out due to a Covid diagnosis.

Talking Dead – Walking Dead Universe preview special

A head of the SDCC panels Talking Dead announced a Talking Dead: The Walking Dead Universe Preview that will air on AMC on August 7. This is one week ahead of the premiere of Tales of the Walking Dead on August 14.

According to Talking Dead’s Twitter post, the special preview will cover the Daryl spinoff, Isle of the Dead, Tales of the Walking Dead and more. The spinoff series will be what carries the fandom; this includes Fear the Walking Dead which is entering its eighth season.

Hopefully, Daryl’s spinoff is finally given a title at Comic Con.
