The Walking Dead’s Katelyn Nacon stars in Devil’s Peak

Actress Katelyn Nacon is well known for her role as Enid on The Walking Dead series. Introduced in season 5, Enid becomes friends with Carl (Chandler Riggs), which leads to a romance between them. His death profoundly affects her, and in season 9, she becomes a victim of Alpha’s (Samantha Morton) pikes. This February, Nacon’s fans can see her in the new movie Devil’s Peak. 

Directed by Ben Young, known for Extinction (2018), with a script written by Robert Knott, Devil’s Peak is based on the novel Where All Light Tends to Go by David Joy. The book was published in 2015 and is a crime thriller but also a coming-of-age story.

The intense thriller is set in the North Carolina Appalachian Mountains, where a crime lord rules over his family and his business with his fists. His son works alongside him, but when he meets the girl of his dreams, he will come against his terrifying father.

Devil’s Peak release date

Devil’s Peak will release in theaters on Feb. 17, 2023, and on demand on Feb. 23. 2023.

Nacon portrays the love interest of the crime boss’s son Jacob, played by Hooper Penn. Billy Bob Thorton plays the crime boss and Robin Wright as Jacob’s mother.

Additional cast includes Jackie Earle Haley, Brian d’Arcy, and Emma Booth.

Most recently, Nacon can be seen in the films Breathing Happy and Linoleum. She has also starred as Sammi Karras in the series Light as a Feather and Elisia Brown in T@gged. 

Next, Nacon will star alongside Max Ehrich in Southern Gospel, a biography about Samuel Allen, a rock ‘n’ roll star turned preacher. The story follows his journey as he encounters endless obstacles to see his childhood dream come to fruition.
