By Renee Hansen
The Walking Dead universe if full of talented actors, and it is interesting to see them in different roles. Actress Lauren Cohan has portrayed Maggie Rhee (née Greene) since season 2 of the series. She took a break from the series during seasons 9 and 10 and would return as a regular cast member in the bonus season 10c.
Maggie has experienced much grief during her time in the series. She lost her father, Hershel (Scott Wilson), her sister Beth (Emily Kinney), and her husband, Glenn (Steven Yeun), to only name a few. She was fortunate to become pregnant before her husband’s brutal death and had a son named Hershel (Kien Michael Spiller).
The main series has concluded its story, but Maggie’s will continue in the spinoff series, The Walking Dead: Dead City, that will premiere on AMC in June 2023. This series joins the unlikely duo of Maggie and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) as they travel to Manhattan searching for her son, who has been abducted.
