Jenna Elfman is well known for her role as June on Fear the Walking Dead. The actress is also known for portraying Dharma in the Dharma & Greg sitcom that aired on ABC from 1997-2002. As Fear the Walking Dead winds down filming for the eighth and final season, the cast, crew, and fans have become nostalgic, Elfman included. She shares a sweet photo on Instagram chronicling her time on the series.
Introduced in season 4 of Fear the Walking Dead, June first encounters Madison (Kim Dickens), Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey), Victor Strand (Colman Domingo), and Luciana (Danay Garcia). It is a tense meeting as June holds Madison at gunpoint. Madison would save June after this and invite her to come with them. Her medical skills, as a former ICU nurse, are greatly needed in the world they find themselves in.
In the series, June’s story is pieced together via flashbacks, and viewers learn that she has gone by the names Laura and Naomi, as well as June. This is vital information when you see the photo that Elfman shares on social media. She fondly remembers June/Laura/Naomi as she says goodbye to the character she has portrayed for four seasons from 2017-2023. She uses a quote in the caption that states, “The end is the beginning,” a quote that fans of the series will find familiar.
