Chandler Riggs surprised Walking Dead fans with a cameo appearance in the series finale episode “Rest in Peace.” Most fans missed it during the first watch but caught Riggs gardening in the Hilltop scene wearing Father Gabriel’s (Seth Gilliams) hat. Riggs was on set watching the cast film the last scene of the series and was able to participate. Next, fans will be able to see Riggs has a special guest on the upcoming season of Ghost Hunters.
The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS) team will return to Travel Channel and discovery+ on April 6, 2023, at 9 p.m. ET with all new episodes of Ghost Hunters. The team is comprised of paranormal investigators Jason Hawes, Steve Gonsalves, Dave Tango, and Shari DeBenedetti.
Riggs will guest star in the premiere episode on April 6, “Dead Man Walking.” The episode occurs in Hanford, California, in what is now known as the Bastille, a 125-year-old abandoned jail. Local residents have long reported strange apparitions and other activities in this building. Dating back to the old west, when it was a former jail, since that time, the building has housed many different businesses with one thing in common, claims of paranormal activity.
Riggs and investigators Satori Hawes and Cody DesBiens join the TAPS teams as they investigate the location. The building is believed to be haunted by the tragic deaths that happened inside the jail so many years ago.
Ghost Hunters will air new episodes weekly on Thursday nights through May 25, 2023.
