The Walking Dead: Season 11 UK DVD release date?

It has been a great couple of months for updates on the ever-expanding The Walking Dead universe. Fear the Walking Dead will premiere its eighth and final episode on May 14, 2023, Dead City begins June 18, Daryl Dixon in the fall of 2023, and Summit making us wait until 2024. There is lots of new content for us to enjoy! I cannot wait to see these new stories in new places kick-off.

TWDU is far from over, even though in 2022, the main show had its final goodbye with “Rest In Peace.” This episode bid farewell to many of the characters we have grown to adore. But the good news is, we can re-watch their stories, good and bad, as much as we like! Via streaming or physical DVDs.

It is bittersweet to look forward to the release of a new season of TWD as a box set, knowing it is the last of the series we will get as a DVD set. But UK fans are still awaiting details about the release. So when will this be?

The Walking Dead: Season 11 DVD, UK Release

The only thing showing as available for The Walking Dead season 11 DVD is the US version of the box set which will play as region one, meaning it won’t be compatible with many UK players. UK Fans with region one players can order the US box set to be delivered and enjoyed. Unfortunately, there will be a bit more of a wait without this.

There is no date for the Season 11 DVD and Blu-Ray release in the United Kingdom. The company, EOne, has distributed DVDs in the UK since the first season, and season 11 DVD will be the first without the ‘As seen on Fox’ logo.

The delay could be due to the eleventh season airing on Disney Plus, and the first season did not feature an episode on Fox TV UK. Although there was always a wait to get the DVD’s after their US release, there usually was some time frame to go by. I can only guess spring or summer may be when it will hit shops physically and online.

The box set of Season 11 features two deleted scenes. One of these scenes is from episode 1110, “New Haunts,” featuring Magna (Nadia Hilker) and Max (Margot Bingham), and the other from 1111, “Rouge Element,” featuring Eugene (Josh McDermitt), in the bonus content. The lack of features is a shame for the final season. It would have been nice to get the audio commentary, making of, or even bloopers.

However, I am still pleased there is a physical copy of Season 11, and two small bonus clips are better than none! Hopefully, we will get updates on the DVDs soon and then can await the completion of our physical media collections. Woo hoo!
