Where can I watch all seasons of The Walking Dead?

The Walking Dead series is iconic for being one of the most-watched shows in cable TV history. Although the viewership waned in the later seasons, overall, it has been a series with high viewership numbers. These ratings are primarily due to the characters portrayed by outstanding actors in stories that draw people in.

This series drew in viewers because it was an apocalypse story featuring the undead, and many were already fans of comics created by Robert Kirkman. They continued to watch when they realized the series was set up to focus on more than just battling the undead; this story focused on the survivor’s stories. Sure, there is a lot of death and gore, something that goes hand in hand with a series of this nature, but the central premise is the survivors and their daily battles to beat the undead and fight the living, who, in a world gone crazy, are sometimes worse.

The Walking Dead concluded its story in November 2022 after a 12-year run spanning eleven seasons with a total of 177 episodes.

Where can I watch The Walking Dead?

Fans feel nostalgic for The Walking Dead’s early seasons, which premiered in 2010. While the new spinoffs are doing a great job of filling the void the ending of The Walking Dead has left, nothing will ever compare to the early seasons of the original.

Although things fluctuate frequently, currently, the first season of The Walking Dead is available on AMC+. All 11 seasons are part of the lineup available on The Walking Dead Channel on AMC+, a 24/7 TWD-dedicated network.

Netflix currently has all eleven seasons of The Walking Dead series. In January 2023, the streamer released the eleventh and final season to its catalog of titles. If things follow AMC’s general agreements with Netflix, the series should remain on until at least January 2027, but this isn’t certain.

Another option is to purchase the seasons of The Walking Dead via Prime Video. Seasons range from $14.99 for season 1 to $39.99 for season 11. And Pluto TV offers six of the seasons.

The series is also available to purchase via Google Play, Microsoft, YouTube, Apple TV, iTunes and Vudu.

If you are interested in physical copies of the series the entire 11 seasons are now available on Blu-ray and DVD. Lionsgate Home Entertainment released The Walking Dead: The Complete Collection featuring 54 discs. There are two versions one available at exclusively at Walmart with “Don’t Open Dead Inside” artwork by Clio Award winning-illustrator Oliver Barrett. The other version available on Amazon with artwork featuring The Teddy Bear Walker (Addy Miller). Both feature the behind-the-scenes documentary, The Walking Dead: The Making of the Final Season, available on disc exclusively for the first time.
