Walking Dead actress Alicia Witt The Masked Singer and upcoming tour
By Renee Hansen
Award-winning actress and singer-songwriter Alicia Witt portrayed Paula during season 6 of The Walking Dead. She was a member of the Saviors who had an unfortunate run-in with Carol (Melissa McBride) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan) that ended in her death. Witt recently competed in season 9 of The Masked Singer as Dandelion.
Fans of The Masked Singer series saw Witt’s performance as Dandelion on the show, and Ken Jeong correctly guessed her identity. Witt received her invitation to join the completion on the day she received breast reconstruction surgery after her breast cancer journey. She read the email, still groggy after anesthesia, and questioned the memory of it the next day. She told People, “It felt like divine timing.”
She shared that she was very thankful for her yoga practice to pull off wearing the dandelion costume while performing, and it was also challenging to see.
You can see her reveal below.
Here is Witt’s extraordinary performance of Judy Garland’s “Over the Rainbow.”
