Fear the Walking Dead season 8 episode 1 photos and new characters

Fear the Walking Dead fans are anxiously awaiting the premiere of season 8. The first episode, “Remember What They Took From You,” will air on AMC+ on May 11 and AMC on May 14 at 9 p.m. ET.  Learning about PADRE and seeing what happens with Madison (Kim Dickens) and Morgan (Lennie James), who were last seen heading to that location, will be exciting (Kim Dickens) and Morgan (Lennie James), who were last seen heading to that location. AMC has released new images from this episode that featured a new character who will be introduced in this episode.

In the season finale of season 7, Madison returned to Fear the Walking Dead after she was thought to have died in season 4. She met Morgan and his daughter Mo and collected her for PADRE. Madison informed Morgan that PADRE is an organization that kidnaps children away from their parents to train them for some unknown purpose.

The eighth season of Fear the Walking Dead has also been announced to be the final and will see a significant focus on PADRE.

A new season will see the introduction of new characters, and one of those will be Dove, played by Jayla Walton. She looks young in the photo, so perhaps she is one of the children kidnapped for PADRE.

Season 8 will experience a seven-year time jump which required recasting of Mo. Actress Zoey Merchant will play an aged-up Mo or Wren, as labeled in the promo photos (below) released by AMC.

Another new character introduced in episode one is Shrike played by Mya Eshet. She is a member of PADRE.

The description for the first episode of season 1 reads:

"After going undercover at PADRE, Morgan and Madison find themselves back at odds trying to do what’s best for Mo while struggling to accept their new lives under the watchful eye of PADRE."
