AMC released the long-awaited official trailer of Dead City the same day that Fear the Walking Dead premiered its eighth season on AMC+. So it was a big day for fans of TWDU.
The Walking Dead: Dead City trailer
Set to the tunes of Iggy & the Stooges “Gimme Danger” the full length trailer of Dead City is a wild ride in the streets of Manhattan. Viewers get a better look at post-apocalyptic Manhattan, and the new people, friends and foes, that Maggie & Negan will encounter. And the walkers look outstanding.
Negan asks Maggie: “You wanna tell me where the hell we’re going?”

The Walking Dead: Dead City season 1
The first season of Dead City will take place a few years after The Walking Dead series final episode. Hershel, now played by Logan Kim, will be abducted by a man known as The Croat (Željko Ivanek), who many believe has something to do with the original Saviors group.
Negan is wanted by a new character, Marshall Perlie Armstrong (Gaius Charles), who is charge of keeping law and order in new Babylon.
The Walking Dead: Dead City will premiere on June 18 at 10 p.m. ET on AMC immediately following the midseason finale of Fear the Walking Dead.
