THE WALKING DEAD NEWS: Dead City early premiere and more

AMC has announced that the spinoff The Walking Dead: Dead City will premiere three days early on AMC+. Dead City is scheduled to premiere on AMC on June 18 at 9 p.m. ET the same night as Fear the Walking Dead’s midseason eight finale. Fans are excited to learn that the Dead City episode will premiere on AMC+ on June 15. In other news this week, the Rick & Michonne spinoff wraps filming, and many TWDU actors have been cast in new roles.
Fear the Walking Dead will air season 8, episode 2, “Blue Jay,” on May 21 at 9 p.m. ET. This episode is currently available to watch via AMC+. This will be an episode focused on June Dorie (Jenna Elfman) and what her life is like after the seven-year time jump.
In other exciting news, the Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) spinoff, Summit (working title), has wrapped filming after three months. The six-episode series is expected to release in 2024.
