It is no secret that Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) aren’t the best of friends in The Walking Dead: Dead City spinoff. Despite their differences, the duo work well together and are often put in situations where they must set aside their pasts to do something good. The sneak peek video for episode 4, “Everybody Wins a Prize,” appears they could be on their way to becoming friends.

Dead City is by far the best spinoff to come out of The Walking Dead universe so far, and fans have enjoyed learning more about Maggie and Negan’s stories. This series finds them in Manhattan, overrun with the undead and ruled over by a former Savior named The Croat (Željko Ivanek). With the help of some locals, known as the Tribespeople, can Maggie and Negan finish the job they set out to do? Rescue Hershel (Logan Kim) and kill The Croat?

Below is a sneak peek at this week’s episode, where Maggie and Negan open up to one another.

The Walking Dead: Dead City episode 4

AMC will release “Everybody Wins a Prize” on Sunday, July 9 at 9 p.m. ET. AMC+ subscribers can watch this episode beginning July 6.

This episode sees Maggie and Negan begin to carry out their attack on The Croat, but things don’t go according to plan. The Croat is still holding Armstrong, and Ginny is roaming the streets of Manhattan.

What repercussions will Negan face after last week’s killing of one of the Tribespeople? Will Negan discover Ginny is in Manhattan, or will Maggie do everything to keep this secret hidden?

Don’t miss The Walking Dead: Dead City this Sunday. Things will move quickly, with only three more episodes remaining in the season.
