Amazon Prime has revealed the release date for part 1 of season 2 of the adult animated series Invincible. This series features Walking Dead’s Glenn Rhee and Beef actor Steven Yeun as the titular character, who also goes by the name Mark Grayson, the son of superhero Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons).

The Invincible premiere date of November 3 was announced at SDCC 2023. The second season will have eight episodes, four released in November, with the remaining expected early in 2024. The series is based on the groundbreaking comic book by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley. Season 1 was so well received that Amazon renewed the series for seasons 2 and 3 on the day of the season 1 finale.

It has been two years since the first season of Invincible premiered, and Kirkman shared that season 2 will pick up after the first season’s events and feature a new villain, Angstrom Levy, who Sterling K. Brown will voice.

Regarding the time span between seasons, Kirkman explains:

"This is an extremely complicated show. It’s an hour-long animated series. There are so many characters and scenes. We really had to wrap our heads around how this production was going to be managed."
