The Bikeriders starring Norman Reedus sets release date for summer 2024

Actor Norman Reedus will star in a new spinoff series of The Walking Dead, which features his character Daryl Dixon. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will premiere on AMC in September, focusing on Daryl’s journey to France. Reedus will star in a new drama movie, The Bikeriders, this winter.
The movie written and directed by Jeff Nichols (Take Shelter, Mud, and Loving) is inspired by Danny Lyon’s book of photography from 1968. The story focuses on the members of the fictional Chicago Outlaw Motorcycle Club.
Set in the 60s, The Bikeriders follow the rise of a fictional Midwest motorcycle club as seen through the eyes of its members. Changes that occur over a decade begin to threaten the original member’s way of life. What was once a gathering stop for local outsiders begins to transform into a sinister gang.

The movie The Bikeriders is scheduled for release in theaters by 20th Century Studios on June 21, 2024.

Reedus’ role in the film has yet to be disclosed. In the movie, he stars alongside an impressive cast list.

Norman Reedus – Ride with Norman Reedus season 6
Reedus is an avid motorcycle enthusiast making his casting in The Bikeriders a perfect fit. His Walking Dead character Daryl rode a motorcycle throughout this time on the series, per Reedus’ request.
AMC has also created a reality travel series around Reedus’ love of motorcycles. Ride with Norman Reedus features Reedus with fantastic guest stars as they travel the globe on their bikes. They look at local culture and meet an amazing variety of people along the way.
AMC will premiere season 6 of Ride with Norman Reedus on September 10, immediately following the premiere of his spinoff series The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. He will welcome special guests Keanu Reeves, Josh Holloway, Johnny Knoxville, and Adri Law this season.
