Fear the Walking Dead actor Cliff Curtis joins cast of Invincible season 2

Actor Cliff Curtis has an impressive list of roles, including two recent big movies, Avatar: The Way of Water and Meg 2: The Trench. Fans of The Walking Dead universe know him as Travis Manawa on Fear the Walking Dead, a role he portrayed from seasons 1-3. One of his many upcoming roles includes Robert Kirkman’s Invincible.
Amazon Prime Video has announced a November 3 release date for season 2, part 1 of Invincible, which is based on the wildly popular comic created by Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley. Season 2 will feature eight episodes, four released in November, with the remaining released in early 2024. The first season was such a success that Amazon renewed the series for seasons 2 and 3 on the release day of the season 1 finale episode.
The series follows Mark Grayson/Invincible, played by TWD and Beef star Steven Yeun. He is the son of the superhero Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons). In season 1, Mark discovers his superpowers, and the story unfolds as he acclimates to his new existence.

Curtis will join the second season in an undisclosed role, and other new actors for this season include the all-star line-up of Tatiana Maslany, Daveed Diggs, Peter Cullen, Calista Flockhart, Scoot McNairy, Lea Thompson, and Ben Schwartz.
Voice actors returning this season in addition to Yeun and Simmons are Sandra Oh, Zazie Beetz, Grey DeLisle, Chris Diamantopoulos, Walton Goggins, Gillian Jacobs, Jason Mantzoukas, Zachary Quinto, Andrew Rannells, Kevin Michael Richardson, and Seth Rogen. Fellow TWDU actors Ross Marquand and Khary Payton also return.

What else does Cliff Curtis star in?
Curtis’ long-running career has seen him star in a variety of roles. Titles he is known for include Reminiscence, Murina, Doctor Sleep, Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, The Meg, Gang Related, Missing, and Trauma.
He has also starred in both The Meg and The Meg: The Trench as Mac. He is known for his role as Tonowari from the Avatar series of films, of which he starred in The Way of Water (2022) and in the upcoming third, fourth, and fifth installments.
He will next star in the Netflix series Kaos, alongside Hugh Grant as Zeus with Curtis as Poseidon. The release date has not yet been announced but is expected in late 2023 or early 2024.
Curtis will also star in a historical drama, Chief of War, a thrilling story of the unification of the Hawaiian Islands from an indigenous perspective. Ka Whawhai Tonu is an action movie set in 1864 New Zealand during the war between Maori and colonial soldiers.
