Actor and voice impersonator Ross Marquand is well known for his role as Aaron in The Walking Dead series. Aaron is one of many characters who survived the series’ final episode, which fans long to see in a spinoff. He is also one of several Walking Dead actors who have joined the MCU; which character did he voice?
Marquand’s first experience in acting began when he was nine with a small role in a church play. During his time in the Boy Scouts, where he achieved Eagle Scout, he would entertain the other Scouts by impersonating celebrities while sitting around the campfire. He would attend the University of Boulder, where he graduated with a BFA in Theatre Performance and starred in several productions, including To Kill a Mockingbird, The Passion of Dracula, and The Cherry Orchard.
Who does Ross Marquand voice in the MCU?
In both Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019), Marquand would be recast as the voice of Red Skull, a character formerly portrayed by Hugo Weaving. He would take over as Ultron, initially played by James Spader, in the virtual reality experience Avengers: Damage Control (2019) and play an alternate version of the character in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022). He would also voice both characters in the MCU series “What If…”
What roles is Ross Marquand known for?
Marquand will reprise his role as Rudy/The Immortal in Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman’s Invincible. The adult animated series will return to Prime Video for season 2 on November 3. The series is led by Walking Dead’s Steven Yeun and also stars other actors from TWDU, including Khary Payton and Cliff Curtis.
He has also voiced characters in Robot Chicken, American Dad!, Family Guy, and Blockbuster and voiced a Radio DJ in an episode of the Michael Cudlitz led The Kids are Alright. He also portrayed screen legend Paul Newman in AMC’s Mad Men.
In early 2023, Marquand was announced as being cast in Tuesday’s Flu with Tony Todd and Jackie Earle Haley. This film is directed by Daniel Roebuck, who starred in The Walking Dead: Cold Storage, a four-part web series released in 2012.
