Margot Bingham stars in Lawmen: Bass Reeves, trailer, release date and more

Singer-songwriter and actress Margot Bingham will star in the new Western series Lawmen: Bass Reeves. Bingham joined The Walking Dead series in its final season as Max, though her voice was heard in season 10. She was an excellent addition to the series, and Eugene (Josh McDermitt) finally found love. The new series is the next installment in the Taylor Sheridan universe.
Lawmen: Bass Reeves, originally titled 1883: The Bass Reeves Story, is created by showrunner Chad Feehan, known for Ray Donovan, and is executive produced by Yellowstone franchise creator Taylor Sheridan and David Oyelowo (Selma).
In April 2023, it was announced the Lawmen series will be in an anthology format, with future seasons focusing on other iconic lawmen.
This series tells of a legendary lawman from the Old West, Bass Reeves. It follows Reeves’ life from enslavement to becoming the first Black U.S. Marshal west of the Mississippi. During his career, he arrested over 3,000 outlaws, but the responsibility took its toll on his morals and the spirituality of his much-loved family.
Lawmen: Bass Reeves release date
The Paramount+ series Lawmen: Bass Reeves will be released on all Paramount+ markets on November 5, 2023. The first two episodes will be released on this date, with the remaining six released weekly.
