In June 2023, Walking Dead actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan participated in Men’s Health’s Don’t Read The Comments video series.  The five-minute video featured Morgan chatting about this bromance with fellow Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus, his final scene in Grey’s Anatomy, and addressing people mistaking him for actor Javier Bardem.

The video begins with Morgan looking at fan questions and reveals what he can share about The Boys season 4. Morgan will appear in the upcoming season of The Boys, whose release date has been postponed but will likely happen in 2024.

Regarding being mistaken for Bardem, he says he is “tackled” by people in the grocery or other places as they rapidly speak Spanish, believing he is Bardem. They have also congratulated him on life events that are actually Bardem’s.

Fans of Grey’s Anatomy will never forget the death of Morgan’s character, Denny Duquette. He was a heart patient who fell for Catherine Heigl’s Dr. Izzie Stevens, and Morgan isn’t over the death either. He has previously stated it broke his heart to leave the series and talks about it with Men’s Health.

It is an excellent video highlighting some outstanding fan questions and comments with his responses. He touches on his bromance with Reedus, responds to a fan’s comment that Maggie and Negan should kiss already, talks tattoos, and filming THAT scene on The Walking Dead. (not the Negan/Alpha one, the one with Negan’s lineup).

The Walking Dead: Dead City

Negan’s latest series, The Walking Dead: Dead City, concluded season 1 in July 2023. The series has been renewed for a second season, and when viewers saw him last, he was in the custody of The Dama (Lisa Emery), who wanted his help taking over the island of Manhattan.

Fans are eager to see what will happen next for Negan when Dead City returns.
