Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon cast celebrates premiere on social media

September 10, 2023, marks the premiere of the eagerly awaited The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon series. AMC+ subscribers can watch beginning at 3 a.m. ET and AMC will air the debut episode at 9 p.m. ET. The cast of the series is just as excited as the fans and has commemorated the day with many social media posts.
The new series is the second direct spinoff, the fifth overall, of The Walking Dead, which focuses on Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus). Daryl finds himself a stranger in a strange land and immediately sets his plan in motion to return home.
In a teaser, Daryl states that a series of bad decisions led him to France. When he was last seen during the season finale of the main series, he said his goodbyes and set out to find Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Dania Gurira). Did he come too close to finding Rick, and the CRM sent him overseas? Only time will tell the truth of how and why Daryl is in France.

Faustine Surmont plays a character whose name has yet to be revealed. She announced her inclusion in the series on March 26, when filming for the first season of Daryl Dixon wrapped. Below, she celebrates the series’ debut, shouting out to her fellow castmates and sharing some outstanding photos.
Anne Charrier portrays Genet, the leader of a political movement, The Cause, who isn’t pleased with Daryl’s presence in France. A couple days before the premiere, she shared her excitement on Instagram, stating: “In a few days this extraordinary adventure will be yours, Daryl Dixon travels to France, and what a Journey!!! So lucky to be a part of it! Join us!”
Eriq Ebouaney stars in the series as Fallou, a member of the resistance. Viewing the actor’s Instagram, you can see several posts about the series, including the post below.
Stuntman Fred Guerin also shared his excitement about the new series, stating, “It’s epic in scale!”
Newcomer Louis Puech Scigliuzzi plays Laurent, a young boy raised by a group of nuns, The Union of Hope, who believe he is destined to lead humanity’s revival. The young actor has been very active on Instagram and has shared his excitement for the premiere in his stories.
And the show’s star, Norman Reedus, has also shared several images on his stories on social media.
