By Renee Hansen
AMC and The Walking Dead universe will attend the 2023 New York Comic Con (NYCC) event held at the Javits Center in NYC from October 12-15. In a recent press release, AMC announced that attendees will be the first to view the season finale of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.
On Thursday, October 12, from 4:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. ET at the Empire Stage, the season finale episode of Daryl Dixon titled “Coming Home” will air, followed by a Q&A panel. The press release also announced that the panel would be moderated by Entertainment Weekly’s Dalton Ross, with special guests CCO of TWDU Scott M. Gimple, showrunner David Zabel, and executive producer Greg Nicotero.
Attendees will also be treated to a first look sneak peek at The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, the spinoff featuring the return of Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and MIchonne (Dania Gurira).

According to the NYCC site, here are the digital ticket details:

- Filming will take place in most major panel rooms, but some content will not be filmed or may be blacked out at the discretion of the content owner or panel participants.
- Price includes ticket fees. Taxes are not included and will be calculated at checkout.
While the panel will be recorded, the Daryl Dixon episode will not be released in this VOD format. It is unclear whether or not The Ones Who Live footage will be included.
While it isn’t the same as being there in person, you will learn firsthand what the creators of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon have to share about the series and hopefully something regarding the upcoming second season.
