Jeffrey Dean Morgan has recently wrapped production on a new movie. The Walking Dead actor recently starred in the spinoff series The Walking Dead: Dead City, which will begin filming for season 2 in the near future. He recently shared on social media about wrapping up his latest project, Nowhere Men.
Little information has been announced regarding the project other than it was filmed in Alabama and was operating under an interim agreement during the SAG-AFTRA strikes. The crime thriller is titled Nowhere Men, directed by Duncan Skiles, known for The Clovehitch Killer, and written by Sean Farley. The new film stars Morgan, Jack Quaid, and Malin Akerman.
According to the casting call for the movie in Birmingham, Alabama, the synopsis reads:
"When a mentally ill young man thinks he witnesses an abduction and the police refuse to believe him, he reluctantly turns to his next door neighbor- a bitter, retired security guard- to help him find the missing woman."
Morgan, Quaid, and Akerman shared their excitement about the project on social media. We will keep you posted as more information is released.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan – upcoming projects
Morgan will star in the second season of The Walking Dead: Dead City, which is expected to begin production soon. The first season aired in the summer of 2023 to rave reviews.
He will also star in an undisclosed role in The Boys’ upcoming season on Amazon Prime Video. Fans eagerly await the premiere of The Boys’ fourth season in 2024.
He also filmed a movie with Guy Pierce, Neponset Circle, but a premiere date has yet to be announced.
