Walking Dead actress Emily Kinney (Beth Greene) new album

Actress, singer, and songwriter Emily Kinney will always be remembered as the youngest Greene sister, Beth, on The Walking Dead series. Since her season 5 death in the series, she has gone on to many new projects, including furthering her musical career.

Her new album, Swimteam, was released on September 22, 2023. Before the album’s release, she slowly released singles from the album. The first, “Walkin’ Round Your Dreams,” was released in May 2023, and the second, “False Start,” was released in June 2023.

Swimteam isn’t Kinney’s first album; she has several others, including This Is War, Oh Jonathan, Expired Love, and Blue Toothbrush. She toured for two of the albums, and will likely schedule tour dates for this new album as well; sign up for her newsletter to keep up to date.

She has one show currently scheduled in Nashville.

Kinney was recently a guest on It’s Real with Jordan and Demi on YouTube, where she talked about her new music and reminisced about her time on The Walking Dead. 

Emily Kinney – new music and more

Kinney showcased her vocal talents several times during The Walking Dead, and one that always pulls at viewers’ heartstrings is “Struggling Man,” which she sang in the season 5 episode “What’s Happened and What’s Going On” during Tyreese (Chad L. Kinney recently starred in Santa Bootcamp, a film part of Lifetime’s It’s a Wonderful Lifetime 2022 Christmas program event. You can also see her in new episodes of Sherman’s Showcase and Alert: Missing Persons Unit. She also lent her voice talents to The Walking Dead: Destinies game.
