Walking Dead actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s The Boys character revealed in teaser

Fans of Jeffery Dean Morgan have been waiting for more information regarding his character in the upcoming season of The Boys. The new teaser trailer for season 4 of Amazon Prime’s original series, The Boys, reveals a couple of quick glimpses of Morgan in character.
The Boys is created by Erick Kripke, who also created Supernatural, reunites with Morgan, who starred in that series as the patriarch of the Winchester family, John. The pair had long teased the desire to include Morgan in the series, but it was difficult due to Morgan’s filming of the mega-sized final season of The Walking Dead, which took two years.
The Amazon Prime original series, The Boys, is a satirical look at superheroes that used the original comic, created by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, as source material. The story follows a group of vigilantes who battle the supers who abuse their superpowers.
The fourth season is scheduled for release in 2024 and, according to Variety, will pick up where events left off from the previous season.
The ensamble cast consists of Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Chace Crawford, Laz Alonso, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, and Nathan Mitchell. Other cast includes the talents of Elisabeth Shue, Aya Cast, and Claudis Doumitt. The series also stars Morgan’s Supernatural co-star Jensen Ackles and fellow TWDU actress Colby Minifie.

The Boys franchise
The series was initially intended to be a feature-length film, but after the project was left in “developmental hell,” the project was revived by Cinemax, who added Kripke as showrunner with Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg as executive producers. In November 2017, Amazon Studios acquired the rights.
The Boys has spawned an animated anthology series, Diabolical, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video in 2022. Gen V, the second live-action series in the franchise, premiered in 2023.
