Recently, Deadline reported that Daryl Dixon actor, Norman Reedus, was filming a new project in New Mexico. He joins Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Phoebe Dynevor in the Darren Aronofsky-produced horror film, Pendulum.
Reedus recently shared on social media that he borrowed a bike on his day off to head to Taos, where he visited the grave of actor Dennis Hopper, who died in 2010. Hopper is known as one of the key figures of New Hollywood, an era that spanned from the 1960s to the 1980s. He made his directorial debut with Easy Rider (1969), a film he co-wrote and starred in with Peter Fonda.
In 2009, it was reported that Hopper had advanced prostate cancer. He received the 2,403rd star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame just months before his death on May 29, 2010. His funeral took place on June 3 at San Francisco de Asis Mission Church in Ranchos de Taos, New Mexico, where he is buried at the Jesus Nazareno Cemetery.
Below is the post Reedus made featuring several photos of his travels.

Norman Reedus in Pendulum
Pendulum, directed by Mark Heyman (Black Swan), follows Patrick (Gordon-Levitt) and Abigail (Dynevor) as a couple who schedule some time away at a New Age retreat. Reedus portrays the friend who introduced them to the retreat where they hope to heal after a traumatic event. While Abigail is quick to fall under the spell of the leader, Patrick is leery of trusting her.
The movie is being filmed in New Mexico and is produced by award-winning director Darren Aronofsky, known for his films that often contain disturbing elements.
In June, Reedus will appear in the John Wick spinoff movie, Ballerina, which stars Ana de Armas. Later this year, he will reprise his role as Daryl Dixon in the third season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.
