The Paley Museum, located at 25 West 52 Street, NYC has announced Walking and Talking: An Evening with The Walking Dead: Dead City event that will be held on April 20, 2025. The event will feature a previewing screening and special guests.
Tickets for the event is now open to Paley Members, Partner level and above on the venue's website. Paley Supporting, Family, and Individual Member presale opens Friday, March 28 at Noon EST with the public sale beginning on March 31 at Noon EST.
Attendees will be treated to a sneak peek screening of the first episode of the season, along with a panel featuring currently scheduled guests Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Lauren Cohan, Gaius Charles, Kim Coates, and Dascha Polanco. Scott M. Gimple, the chief content officer of The Walking Dead Universe, who serves as an executive producer with Morgan and Cohan, will also be present for the panel.
Morgan, Cohan, and Charles return this season in their respective roles as Negan, Maggie, and Perlie Armstrong. Coates and Polanco join the cast as new characters, Bruegel and Col. Lucia Narvaez.


Season 2 of Dead City will premiere on AMC and AMC+ on May 4 at 9 p.m. EST. The second season picks up a few months following the events of the previous season.
The Walking Dead: Dead City season 2
The new season will feature Negan in a return to his roots as the brutal leader of the Saviors featured in the flagships series. He will team with the Dama (Lisa Emery) and the Croat (Željko Ivanek) in a campaign to take control of Manhattan.
Maggie, who is trying to raise two teens, her son Hershel (Logan Kim) and an orphan named Ginny (Mahina Napoleon) and will somehow become involved in the events in Manhattan.
AMC has released the opening minutes of Dead City's second season (watch below), which showcases the process of turning walkers into fuel to power the city.
While many familiar faces will return this season, several other new cast members will join Coates and Polanco, including Keir Gilchrist, Jake Weary, and Pooya Mohseni.
The eight-part second season of The Walking Dead: Dead City will premiere on AMC and AMC+ on May 4. If you need a rewatch or have never watched season 1 of Dead City, it is streaming on Netflix.
