English actor Frank Dillane is well known for his role as Nick Clark on Fear the Walking Dead, a role he portrayed from season 1 until the character's death in season 4. The Essex Serpent

The Essex Serpent was released on Apple TV+ in May 2022. The gothic romance is based on Sarah Perry's novel with the series written by Anna Symon and directed by Clio Barnard. Dillane stars with Clarie Danes, Tom Hiddleston, and Walking Dead Daryl Dixon's Clémence Poésy. The story follows Cora Seasborne (Danes), a widow who lived through an abusive marriage until her husband's death. She then relocated to Aldwinter, a small village in Essex from Victorian London. She learns of the local myths surrounding the Essex Serpent, her reason for chosing the location. She with the local Vicor, Will Ransome (Hiddleston) investigate the local legend.

The Girlfriend Experience

The anthology series The Girlfriend Experience, which has three seasons, airs on Starz. Dillane stars in the third season, which premiered in May 2021. This story follows Iris (Julia Goldani Telles), a neuroscience major who joins a tech start-up studying human behavior in London. She explores the world of the girlfriend experience (GFE), where she works with a high-end escort specializing in GFE, "an array of sexual and other associated services intended to make the client feel both sexually and emotionally satisfied." She learns that she benefits as much as her clients from the sessions.

How to Build a Girl

The movie How to Build a Girl can be viewed on AMC+, Roku, Directv Streaming, and Kanopy. The film is based on a novel by Caitlin Moran about Johanna Morrigan, who lives in Wolverhampton, England, with her working-class family in the 1990s and aspires to be a music journalist. The movie also stars Dillane, Beanie Feldstein, Paddy Considine, Sarah Solemani, Alfie Allen, Laurie Kynaston, Arinzé Kene, Tadhg Murphy, Ziggy Heath, Bobby Schofield, Chris O'Dowd, Joanna Scanlan and Emma Thompson.

Sense8

The sci-fi Sense8, a Netflix original, was created by Lana and Lilly Wachowski (The Matrix) and J. Michael Straczynski (Babylon 5), and Dillane stars in season 1 of the series. The story follows a group of eight strangers who discover they are "sensates," people who are mentally and emotionally linked. The first season stars Aml Ameen, Bae Doona, Jamie Clayton, Tina Desai, Tuppence Middleton, Max Riemelt, Miguel Ángel Silvestre, and Brian J. Smith as the eight.

The Heart of the Sea

The Heart of the Sea is a historical adventure directed by Ron Howard, written by Charles Leavitt (Blood Diamond), and based on Nathaniel Philbrick's novel, In the Heart of the Sea: The Tragedy of the Whaleship Essex. The Essex inspired Herman Melville's novel, Moby Dick. The film stars Chris Hemsworth, Benjamin Walker, Cillian Murphy, Tom Holland, Ben Whishaw, Brendan Gleeson, and Frank Dillane as Owen Coffin, known as Henry Coffin in the film.

Dillane will next star in a new series called Renegade Nell, which will air on Diseny+. He will star alongside Louisa Harland of Derry Girls, who plays Nell, a woman in 18th Century England who is accused of a murder she didn't commit and becomes the most dangerous highwaywoman in the land. The series includes supernatural elements in the form of a spirit, Billy Blind, played by Nick Mohammed of Ted Lasso.
