Fear the Walking Dead actress Jenna Elfman cast in season 2 of Will Trent

Will Trent premiered its second season on ABC in February.

Award-winning Actress Jenna Elfman will forever live in the hearts of fans of the ABC sitcom Dharma & Greg for her portrayal of Dharma. ET Online exclusively reports that Elfman joins the cast of season 2 of the ABC police procedural crime drama Will Trent.

Will Trent is based on the novel series by Karin Slaughter and follows the titular character, portrayed by Ramón Rodríguez, who was abandoned as a child and grew up in the Atlanta foster care system. His upbringing has greatly affected him, as well as his battle with dyslexia, but that didn't stop him from working to become a Special Agent in the Georgia Bureau of Investigations (GBI).

The series also stars Erika Christensen as Will's childhood friend, who also grew up in the foster system, and Angie Polaski, who works as an Atlanta PD Homicide detective. Additional cast includes Iantha Richardson, Jake McLaughlin, and Sonja Sohn. Recurring cast members include Jennifer Morrison, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Greg Germann, and LisaGay Hamilton.

Cast as a guest star, Fear the Walking Dead's Elfman appeared in the fifth episode of the season as the new director of the (GBI), Edie Reynolds, who is described as "a formidable, take-charge, no-nonsense, decisive, by-the-book leader without being unfeeling." Additional guest stars this season include John Ortiz (American Fiction) as Will's uncle, with Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks as a character at the center of a GBI Investigation.

Will Trent airs new episodes on Tuesdays on ABC at 8 p.m. ET and the next day on Hulu.
