McFarlane Toys and AMC sign new licensing agreement for Walking Dead collectibles

Founded by Todd McFarlane over thirty years ago, McFarlane Toys is a name that is known for the creation of detailed collectibles. The company recently announced a new partnership with AMC Networks for The Walking Dead universe.

The agreement will allow McFarlane Toys to create physical and digital collectibles for fans around the globe featuring all characters within TWDU, including the sixth spinoff, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, that recently premiered on AMC and AMC+. This spinoff features the return of Rick and Michonne and continues their epic love story—new episodes air weekly on Sunday through March 31, when the finale airs.

In the past, McFarlane Toys has also created licensing partnerships with DC Comics, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Warhammer, Mortal Kombat, Disney, The Princess Bride, and Avatar: The Last Airbender.

McFarlane is best known for his work as an artist on The Amazing Spider-Man and as the creator, writer, and artist for the horror-fantasy comic series Spawn. He is also the co-founder of Image Comics.

McFarlane Toys prides itself in the creation of highly detailed action figures featuring characters from movies, comics, music, video games, and some sporting genres.
