New crime thriller Parish coming to AMC in 2024, starring Giancarlo Esposito
By Renee Hansen
AMC has released a new teaser for its latest crime thriller series, Parish, which will premiere on the network in March 2024. The series stars Giancarlo Esposito, who is well known for his role as Gus Furing in AMC's Breaking Bad and the prequel series Better Call Saul.
The six-episode Parish is based on the BBC One series The Driver by Danny Brocklehurst and Jim Poyser. Esposito stars as Gracian "Gray" Parish, a New Orleans luxury car service owner and devoted family man who left his criminal past behind. When his business suffers a collapse and his son is brutally murdered, he turns to an old friend from his days as a wheelman. This leads to a high-stakes collision course with a violent criminal syndicate.
Emmy and SAG Award-nominee and Critics Choice Award-winner Esposito is an executive producer with Brocklehurst, Pyser, Jolyon Symonds, and Walking Dead's David Morrisey, who starred in The Driver series in 2014. Eduardo Javier Canto and Ryan Maldonado serve as showrunners and executive producers with Josh Kesselman, Danny Sherman, Barry Jossen, Tana Jamieson, Theo Travers, and Red Production’s Nicola Shindler.
