Scottish actress Pollyanna McIntosh is best known for her role as Jadis in The Walking Dead universe. Her character is one of the first two to appear in significant roles in three TWDU series. She has starred in many other memorable roles and is currently filming more.

The Walking Dead universe
McIntosh portrayed Jadis/Anne in The Walking Dead beginning in season 7. She would depart in season 9 only to reappear in the spinoff World Beyond as Warrant Officer Jadis Stokes. In 2024, she again shows herself, this time in another spinoff, The Ones Who Live. Netflix is currently streaming all 11 seasons of The Walking Dead. Vikings: Valhalla
McIntosh stars in both seasons of the Netflix original series Vikings: Valhalla as Queen Ælfgifu. This historical drama is a sequel to History's Vikings set 100 years after event of the original. This story focuses on actually events by three histroic vikings, Leif Erikson, Freydís Eiríksdóttir, and Harald Sigurdsson. Available to stream on Netflix.
Trilogy of Horror films
Offspring, The Woman, and Darlin’ are a trilogy of standalone horror films featuring McIntosh as a characer known as The Woman. She won three awards for her performance in The Woman and starred, wrote and directed Darlin'. Offspring, The Woman are availalbe on VOD on Prime Video and Darlin' is streaming on Peacock, AMC+, Roku and more.
Scavengers Reign
The adult animated sci-fi series Scavengers Reign has received critical acclaim and a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. The story follows survivors of an interstellar cargo ship, Demeter 227, stranded on an alien planet, Vesta. The group's stories begin with all of them separated into groups where they find their way through the flora, fauna, and dangers of this foreign land back to their crash-landed ship. The series streams on Max.
Hap and Leonard
McIntosh appears in season 1 of Hap and Leonard, which was initially released on SundanceTV in 2016 and would go on for two more seasons. The series is based on Joe R. Lansdale's characters, Hap and Leonard, featured in his novels. Season one is described as a swamp noir story of best friends, a femme fatale, washed-up revolutionaries, psycho-killers, lost loot, and the fuzz. Season 1 streams on AMC+.
