The Ones Who Live teaser, Rick Grimes and the boots are back in 2024

AMC has begun the release of very short teasers promoting the upcoming Rick and Michonne series, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live. Of course, Undead Walking and every other media outlet are overanalyzing the clips, hoping for a crumb of a clue for the spinoff. The latest teaser features Rick Grimes' (Andrew Lincoln) iconic boots, and the fandom is overjoyed to see anything featuring Rick!
The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live will premiere on February 25, 2024, on AMC and AMC+. The newest spinoff marks the sixth spinoff within The Walking Dead universe and might be the most anticipated. The release of these short teasers is exciting because this means an official trailer should be released soon.
The new teaser below begins with a CRM (Civic Republic Military) promo, which is recognized by the three interlocking rings. Then we see someone in workboots and then the unmistakable well-worn cowboy boots worn by Rick.
The Ones Who Live - Rick Grimes
Rick is the hero from the original series and the comic story created by Robert Kirkman. His journey began when he woke from a coma to find the world had been overrun by the undead. As he tried to wrap his head around what was going on, his first thoughts were of his wife and son. Luckily, he encounters Morgan Jones (Lennie James), who schools him on the state of the world.
Throughout the nine seasons he was featured in the main series Rick made good and bad choices but was always a leader and a survivor. Except for that time, he believed he was talking to dead people on the phone at the prison. Yikes! But overall, he has made the hard choices and done everything in his power to protect his family and friends.
The Ones Who Live will bring Rick back to the storyline, where viewers will finally learn more about what has happened since he was whisked away in a CRM helicopter with Jadis (Pollyanna McIntosh). Fans are anxious to see the reunion between Rick and Michonne and what happens after that.
