The Ones Who Live is a six-part series focused on the epic love story and reunion of Rick and Michonne.

The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live has done an incredible job of reuniting Rick and Michonne while also revealing much more about the latest big bad, the CRM (Civic Republic Military). Long teased in several of the series, the CRM is a ruthless militant group overseen by Major General Beale (Terry O'Quinn). The series will air the finale on March 31, but will there be more seasons?

The Ones Who Live is a six-part series that replaced the original idea of a trilogy of movies that would focus on Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln). This plan was set in place upon Lincoln's exit from the series, and fans were on board with seeing The Walking Dead on the big screen. After some restructuring at AMC Networks, it was decided to convert this idea to a spinoff.

The first five episodes of The Ones Who Live did a fantastic job filling in the blanks of the last eight years that Rick and Michonne (Danai Gurira) have been apart. Including Warrant Officer Jadis Stokes (Pollyanna McIntosh) in the story was needed as she is the reason Rick is alive and the reason he's been parted from his family all these years. The unexpected addition of Father Gabriel Stokes (Seth Gilliam) was also a brilliant choice, giving Jadis even more depth of character.

Why we need more The Ones Who Live

The CRM has long been teased as a superpower, and rightly so, but to build this organization up to such heights and then end it abruptly doesn't do justice to the scale and reach the CRM has. O'Quinn as Beale has so much more potential and Lesley-Ann Brandt as Thorne deserves more screentime.

Keep in mind, this is written a head of the season finale but it seems impossible that this story can be wrapped in only one more episode. Rick will return to the CRM to receive the Echelon Briefing, which consists of all the secrets of the CRM, while Michonne frantially searches for the dossier that Jadis wrote up regarding Alexandria and Rick and Michonne's association with that community, meaning their children aren't safe.

The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live finale airs on AMC and AMC+ on Sunday, March 31.
