Tom Payne introduces new character for NBC's Law & Order: Organized Crime

Actor Tom Payne's family recently grew by two when he and his wife, Jennifer Åkerman, welcomed twins. Payne had another exciting announcement, he has joined the cast of season 4 of Law & Order: Organized Crime as a character named Julian Emery.
Fans of Payne love his portrayal of Malcolm Bright on the two-season series Prodigal Son and as Jesus on The Walking Dead, a role he played for four seasons. He also recently starred in the supernatural horror, Imaginary. Payne appeared in season 4, episode 11, "Redcoat" of L&O: Organized Crime, which premiered on NBC on May 2, 2024.
Law & Order Organized Crime premiered in 2021 as the seventh spinoff in the Law & Order franchise and a direct spinoff of Law & Order: SVU. Christopher Meloni reprises his role as Elliot Stabler from SVU. Stabler returns to the NYPD after the murder of his wife and joins the Organized Crime Task Force.
Synopsis for "Redcoat": Stabler struggles to keep his rank as part of the farm's inner circle when his biggest ally is questioned. The team discovers the identity of their top target but are too late to stop the arrival of his newest shipment.
Payne shared the news about the role on Instagram, captioning, "It’s been an absolute pleasure bringing this character to life and spending time with this wonderful cast. I'm also back in my old Prodigal Son stomping ground of New York City. Julian is very different from Malcolm, though!"
Law & Order: Organized Crime airs new episodes weekly on NBC and streams on Peacock. The series has been renewed for a fifth season, which will be streamed solely on Peacock.
Tom Payne - Horizon: An American Saga
Payne and fellow Walking Dead actors Michael Rooker & Fear TWD actor Alejandro Egga (Marco) will star in Kevin Costner's epic Western, Horizon: An American Saga. The saga consists of four movies. Chapter 1 releases in theaters on June 28, 2024, and is set during between 1861-1865, during the American Civil War and is told through the eyes of family, friends, and foes. Chapter 2 releases on August 16, 2024, and focuses on the westward expansion of the United States.
The movies were filmed in in southern Utah and the trailer below showcases the amazing landscape.
