Josh McDermitt portrayed everyone's favorite Mullet-wearing Doctor, Eugene Porter, on The Walking Dead mothership series for eight seasons. How time flies! Until Eugene found love with his ice-cream-loving' partner for life, Max Mercer (Margot Bingham), during the final season.
Although Eugene Porter's story has concluded, the actor behind the iconic character Josh McDermitt has been dipping his toe back into various projects. One recent feature by McDermitt was on the Podcast Go Fact Yourself. And it came with some lovely chat about a certain horror series we all love here, guesses?

Josh McDermitt has been a recent guest featured on the LA-based podcast Go Fact Yourself, which is hosted twice a month by J. Keith van Straaten and Helen Hong in front of an audience. The show includes celebrity guests who are quizzed on their favorite topics to test their knowledge, but they have a little help from an expert in that specific topic. In episode 145, the guests include Ify Nwadiwe, who was joined by Jordan Wiseley, and Laurie Kilmartin, who was joined by McDermitt.
Kilmartin's specialist subject was all things The Walking Dead, without any spoilers, she embarked on exercising her knowledge on the show with McDermitt on hand to help with his expertise. Aside from the fun of the quiz, McDermitt goes back into what sparked his love of the series in the first place and his relationship with fans. Plus, how he tried to hide that he had been cast in the show as a surprise until AMC 'spoiled' it!
This is a fun and energetic podcast that TWD fans can play along to, testing their Undead knowledge while having many laughs. It is lovely to hear McDermitt back and also talking about the show again. Plus, listening to him speak so highly of TWDU which means so much to us fans is nothing but a joy!
