Actor Khary Payton is well known for his role as King Ezekiel in The Walking Dead series. He did an outstanding job portraying the regal leader of the Kingdom from season 7 until its fall and would continue to be a vital member of the communities through the conclusion of the series. He is also well known for his voice work in numerous projects, one of which has found itself back on the top ten list on Netflix, Teen Titans Go! To The Movies.
Initially released in 2018, Teen Titans Go! To The Movies is based on the Cartoon Network animated series based on the superhero team of DC Comics. On January 9, 2024, the streamer included the movie as part of the releases that day. Since that time, the movie has been a top-viewed title, seeing it climb the top ten list.
Teen Titans Go! To The Movies is the featured directorial debut of Peter Rida Michail and Aaron Horvath, written by Horvath and Michael Jelenic, who co-developed the series. The movie features the voices of Greg Cipes, Scott Menville, Khary Payton, Tara Strong, and Hynden Walch, reprising their respective roles from the series. Will Arnett and Kristen Bell also join the cast.
The movie follows the Teen Titans, who have felt left out of the superhero movie craze. They decide to turn supervillain Slade into their archnemesis, boosting their popularity and making them ripe for a movie of their own.
