Walking Dead's Bryan McClure stars in the HBO original film The Great Lillian Hall

Actor Bryan McClure joined The Walking Dead universe during the main series' final season. He portrayed Engineer Wilson, a member of the Commonwealth, in episode 21, "Outpost." Recently, McClure announced his role in the HBO original movie The Great Lillian Hall.

The movie is directed by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning Michael Cristofer, with a screenplay written by Elisabeth Seldes-Annacone.

The story follows Lillian Hall, a beloved Broadway star who, while preparing for her next role, starts to experience confusion and forgetfulness. She continues to prepare for opening night as she fights against memory loss. Her journey is an emotional one as she attempts to balance her longing for the spotlight while the real world demands continue to torment her.

Starring Jessica Lange as Lillian Hall, with Kathy Bates, Lily Rabe, Jesse Williams, and Pierce Brosnan. McClure plays a character named Keith in the film that premieres on HBO on May 31 and will stream on Max.

What else does Bryan McClure star in?

One recent role for McClure was that of the Headless Knight in Haunted Mansion (2023). The character was included in the theme park attraction graveyard scene. The film, which streams on Disney+, also stars Rosario Dawson, LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish, Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, Dan Levy, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jared Leto, Winona Ryder, and Chase W. Dillon.

McClure has also appeared in Covenant, Magnum P.I., The Summer I Turned Pretty, Space Command, and Class of '09. He portrayed Ian Spinks in The Mantawauk Caves podcast series.

He is credited with newer titles, including the comedy Holy Irresistible and Christmas at Keestone. He also appeared in Ana DuVernay's Origin, which stars Aunjanua Ellis-Taylor and Walking Dead alum Jon Bernthal.

McClure recently premiered his writing and producing film debut, Roast Pork Butt, which was screened in Omaha, Nebraska, where he began his career.

McClure stars with Walking Dead alum Ethan McDowell (Washington), Star Trek Discovery's Doug Jones, Star Trek Voyager's Robert Picardo, and Babylon 5's Mira Furlan in Space Command Redemption, available on streaming on Tubi and available to rent on Prime Video.
