Watch this Jeffrey Dean Morgan thriller that's No. 1 on Netflix Top 10 Movie list

Actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan is well known for several notable roles in horror/thriller films. One of these films, The Postcard Killings has recently released on Netflix and quickly climbed its way to the number two spot on the Top 10 Movie list.

The Postcard Killings is directed by award-winning Bosnian director Danis Tanović and is based on the novel by James Patterson and Liza Marklund. The film was originally released in 2020 and is now available to stream on Netflix.

Morgan portrays Jacob Kanon, a New York Detective who enlists the help of a Scandinavian journalist, played by Cush Jumbo, to discover information regarding the murder of his daughter and son-in-law. Their investigation uncovers other brutal murders across Europe in which the killed sent a postcard to a journalist in the town where the next murders would occur.

The movie also stars Famke Janssen as Valerie, Kanon's ex-wife with Joachim Król, Steven Mackintosh, Naomi Battrick, Ruairi O'Connor, Denis O'Hare, Eve Röse, and more.

The film received negative reviews from critics, but Netflix viewers are enjoying this movie, propelling it to the top of the list of movies this week.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan - horror and thriller movies

Morgan is no stranger to movies in the horror and thriller genres, starring in many notable roles. In 2021 he starred in The Unholy a supernatural horror about a deaf girl who experiences a miracle after a visit from the Virgin Mary.

He has also starred in The Possession (2012), The Resident (2011), and Solace (2015).

In 2024, Morgan will begin filming the second season of his spinoff, The Walking Dead: Dead City, where he will once again reprise his role as Negan Smith.
