Which spinoff of The Walking Dead is new in 2024? When does it premiere?

AMC will premiere the sixth spinoff of The Walking Dead in February 2024. One would think that with so many spinoffs, the franchise is over-saturated, but the newest spinoff, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, will see the return of fan favorites Rick and MIchonne, making it the most highly anticipated spinoff.
Sunday, February 25, AMC and AMC+ will premiere the newest spinoff series of TWDU, The Ones Who Live. This series is highly anticipated due to the fact that Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira reprise their roles as Rick and Michonne, characters they first portrayed in the main series.
Lincoln would depart the series during season 9 when Rick was assumed to have died in an explosion. In season 10, Michonne discovers he survived and went in search of his, this was done to make way for Gurira's departure.
A trilogy of movies was announced with the news of Lincoln's exit from the series, but the upcoming spinoff has now replaced these. The first season of The Ones Who Live will consist of six episodes in which TWD CCO Scott M. Gimple is the showrunner. Gimple also executive produces with Lincoln Gurira and Walking Dead universe veterans Denise Huth, Brian Bockrath, and Greg Nicotero.
Cast members joining Lincoln and Gurira include Pollyanna McIntosh, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Terry O’Quinn, Matthew August Jeffers, Craig Tate and Andrew Bachelor, Breeda Wool, and more.
