Warner Bros.' Sinners is a new supernatural horror film written and directed by Academy Award-nominated Ryan Coogler, well-known for Marvel's Black Panther films and Creed. The movie stars Michael B. Jordan in dual roles as twin brothers and includes an appearance by Theodus Crane, who portrayed Big Tiny in season 3 of The Walking Dead.
The film marks Coogler and Jordan's fifth collaboration. It opens in theaters on April 18 and was shot on IMAX film cameras. Coogler's team for the film includes several from Black Panther films, including director of photography Autumn Durald Arkapaw, Oscar-winning production designer Hannah Beachler, editor Michael P. Shawver, and Oscar-winning costume designer Ruth E. Carter.
The story is set in 1930s Jim Crow era-South when brothers Smoke and Stack (Jordan) return home to escape their troubled pasts to make a fresh start. Little did they know there would be a greater evil awaiting their return.

Crane has been cast in an undisclosed role in Sinners, but be sure to watch for him.
This isn't Crane's first foray into the horror genre. In 2023, he appeared in the Blumhouse movie, Five Nights at Freddy's, which is based on the same-titled video game series. The story was led by Josh Hutcherson and also starred Piper Rubio, Elizabeth Lail, Matthew Lillard, Kat Conner, Mary Stuart Masterson, Lucas Grant, and Jessica Blackmore.
He also appeared in Nathan Tape's feature directorial debut, Off Ramp. The official description reads: A couple of lovable, degenerate Juggalos journey through America's hellish underbelly to The Gathering of the Juggalos, the one place on earth they feel accepted.
Walking Dead's Virginia Newcomb joined Crane in the crime thriller Don't Die.
Crane has been cast in the upcoming romantic movie, People We Meet on Vacation starring Emilly Bader and Tom Blyth. The film adapts the novel written by Emily Henry and is expected to release in 2025.
