Dead City 3 is set to return to screens. Fans in the UK need to know this before the air date.

Nearly four years after the mothership show wrapped, The Walking Dead still delivers content to fans across the globe. Through multiple spin-offs, the franchise has pushed boundaries and continues to build on its TV legacy. And whilst some of the spin-offs are showing signs of concluding soon, Dead City 3 is landing on our screens soon for what is sure to be an epic season.

Dead City 3 is set to premiere on July 26, 2026, with new episodes debuting weekly on AMC and AMC+. The series will consist of eight episodes that will follow on from the twists and turns of Dead City 2. It is also worth noting that this will be the last season, so it is going to be a wild ride.

For fans in the UK, we sure have had a wild ride of how, when, and where to stream the series. From Fox to Disney+ to Sky to Now TV, we have had to source our TWD fix via various channels. Sky and NOW TV are the most recent to unite every spin-off from the franchise to the mothership show, so UK audiences can stream all the action. But will they be bringing Dead City season 3 to the party?

Dead City season 3 confirmed to release on Sky and NOW TV

In an exclusive deal between AMC, Sky, and NOW TV, fans across the UK were delighted to hear that all of TWD media would be in one place. Not only that, for the first time, series such as Tales of the Walking Dead were available to stream. For some of the other spin-offs, the UK stream date wasn’t too far behind the US air dates. So much easier to avoid spoilers!

Dead City was left on yet another cliffhanger, with Maggie Rhee’s (Lauren Cohan) son Hershel JR (Logan Kim) making a pact with the Dama. Meanwhile, Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) is still proving his worth to Maggie by entering a new stage of their relationship, which points towards them both attempting to create a new world with Perlie (Gaius Charles) that is free of the New Babylon’s and the Dama’s ties. The series ended with them saying that they will get there together.

However, as the US has had its air date, the UK shouldn’t be that far behind. But as of yet, we still have no updates. This is rather unusual, as the latest pattern would have one assume that we would know by now, or at least have hints of an announcement.

I have no doubt that Sky and NOW TV will air Dead City 3 this year, but the date is still to be announced. It could very well be like Daryl Dixon and stream near autumn, or there could be a last-minute summer announcement. Some seasons have dropped every episode in one go, perfect for a binge, but if this happens with Dead City season 3, we won’t see the episodes until the US run has concluded its eight weeks.

Either way, the best way to see an announcement on dates as soon as it drops is to check out Sky and NOW TV’s official social media pages. If we see the trailer posted, then it is time to get excited. I have a feeling that we will know more very soon!
