It's going to be a huge summer for fans of The Walking Dead. The best news is that it's starting—drum roll, please—right now.
On Saturday, June 20, From Atlanta to Paris 2, the biggest Walking Dead-specific convention, kicks off in Paris, France. There are a bunch of stars of The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, and other Walking Dead spinoffs, including Lauren Cohan, Emily Kinney, Chandler Riggs, Laurie Holden, Lennie James, Christian Serratos, Josh McDermitt, Michael Cudlitz, Alanna Masterson, and more.
The convention takes place over two days (June 20 and June 21) and gives fans the opportunity to meet their favorites, listen to panels, ask questions, and get some pictures and autographs. If you're in the Paris area this weekend and interested, it looks like you can still get tickets to meet the stars of The Walking Dead.

The Walking Dead is expected to have a presence at San Diego Comic-Con
The Walking Dead is always a staple at San Diego Comic-Con, which takes places around the end of July in San Diego, California. We haven't heard officially that The Walking Dead will be there and hosting a Hall H panel as they've done in the past just yet, but there are some rumors and rumblings that there will be a presence for The Walking Dead, The Walking Dead: Dead City, and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.
This year, San Diego Comic-Con takes place from Thursday, July 23, to Sunday, July 26. Guess what day Dead City season 3 premieres? Sunday, July 26. It is written.
It makes so much sense with the timing of Dead City season 3 and Daryl Dixon season 4 dropping later this year that The Walking Dead will be at San Diego Comic-Con. I would be shocked if we don't see AMC do something to promote the new seasons. I'm really hoping they screen an episode or something like that for fans.

Dead City season 3 premieres this summer followed by Daryl Dixon season 4
As mentioned, Dead City season 3 premieres this summer on Sunday, July 26, and that's obviously great news for fans. It's been a long time since the second season ended, so we're more than ready to watch those new episodes.
Dead City season 3 also screened its first two episodes at the Monte-Carlo TV Festival earlier this month. Jeffrey Dean Morgan even revealed that this season is going to be the best season of the series "by far," according to Variety. That's high praise.
Dead City season 3 will air Sunday nights through September on AMC and AMC+. Then, we're expecting to see the final season of Daryl Dixon premiere immediately after. Norman Reedus just bid farewell to the series in an emotional post.
It's possible that Daryl Dixon season 4 will officially air in the fall, but depending on how they stack the seasons, there's a chance it could arrive in late, late summer, technically speaking.
Overall, with all the conventions, potential for franchise-changing news, and the two Walking Dead spinoffs returning, it's going to be a good summer for Walking Dead fans to say the least.
