Fans of The Walking Dead are always excited to see the new projects starring their favorite TWD actors. These actors hold a special place in the hearts of the series' fans who are eager to watch them in new roles, from dramatic to horror, and everything in between.
Ethan McDowell joined The Walking Dead series during its final season as a member of the Reapers, led by Pope (Ritchie Coster). McDowell portrayed Ira Washington, one of the ruthless survivors who made up this group that terrorized Maggie Rhee (Lauren Cohan) and her group, known as The Wardens. Washington, along with several others, was killed by Maggie in episode 911, "No Other Way."

Next, McDowell can be seen in the feature debut of director and writer West Eldredge titled Take From Me. Formerly known as Love Dogs, the slow burn horror thriller stars McDowell (The Walking Dead, The Righteous Gemstones, Space Command) as John, and Kyla Diane Kennedy(Darcine's Day, Soredia) as Elizabeth, Dwayne A. Thomas(The Americans, Blue Bloods) as Police Captain Abe Jackson, and Marlowe Holden (Law & Order) as Vanessa.

The ultra-low budget indie movie was filmed entirely in rural Virginia and West Virginia and tells of a widower named John who finds himself entangled with a mysterious woman, as he tries to navigate his overwhelming grief. At the same time, Police Captain Abe Jackson investigates a series of unexplained disappearances.

Take from Me will be released nationwide on August 26 through BayView Entertainment on Prime Video and Fandango at Home. View the official trailer for the film below. Also, check out the reviews for the movie via Cinedump and Nerdly.
