Jeffrey Dean Morgan will return to AMC in a reprisal of his role as Negan in AMC's The Walking Dead: Dead City in May. But, until that time, fans can watch him in his latest project, a campy, gory, slasher horror movie, Bloody Axe Wound.

The movie written and directed by Matthew John Lawrence who is best known for his horror-comedy Uncle Peckerhead. Lawrence, Morgan and his wife Hilarie Burton Morgan, produced the film along with Mary Stuart Masterson, Liz DeCesare O’Leary, Jordan Manekin Topper, and Meg Mortimer.

Bloody Axe Wound hails from RLJE Films and is streaming exclusively on Shudder, AMC's home of horror, thriller, and supernatural content. Morgan portrays Butch Slater in the film and is joined by Sari Arambulo, Molly Brown, Billy Burke, and fellow TWD actress Angel Theory.
