Norman Reedus Says His Mom Doesn’t Root For Him On The Walking Dead
By Josh Hill
Norman Reedus plays the favorite character of a lot of people on The Walking Dead, but his mom is rooting for someone else.
The Walking Dead is filled with plenty of interesting characters, but there are few that doubt how much of a badass Daryl Dixon is on a weekly basis. While there are thousands of fans who would pick Daryl over anyone on the show, there are a few fans out there who have a different character ranked above him.

In a recent interview, Norman Reedus was quoted as saying his mother is sort of like Carol, which would lead her to root more for her than it would for Daryl.
"“She’s a very colorful badass,” Reedus told Yahoo! News “And I feel like she probably sees herself in Carol a little bit, you know, a fighter who gets things done. That would be Mom’s hero on the show.”"
This isn’t really all that surprising as Carol has a lot of followers and she’s basically a female version of Daryl — or Daryl is a male version of her. Either way, the two characters are one in the same when it comes to their level of badass with Daryl taking a slight edge for whatever reason. But he doesn’t have his mom rooting for him over everyone else, which just goes to show there are some who can resist the charm of what Daryl brings to the table.
