The Walking Dead: Andrew Lincoln Says New Episodes Are ‘Scary’
By Josh Hill
The Walking Dead will return in little over a month with new episodes and star Andrew Lincoln is more than a little excited about what we will all see.
When The Walking Dead returns in 2015 with new episodes to finish off the fifth season, the emotions and the tension are sure to run as high as it ever has. With Beth’s shocking death in the midseason finale of the season, things are being set in motion that will change the group forever in both good and bad ways.

The Walking Dead star Andrew Lincoln isn’t spoiling anything about the back half of Season 5, but he’s pretty excited about what was filmed and is teasing it as ‘scary’ and ‘thrilling’ storytelling.
"We do something very, very different in the back half, but believe me when I say it comes full circle and I think the back eight is some of the most interesting storytelling we’ve ever done on this show. It’s so exciting to do. It’s been scary, but also it’s been thrilling because it’s so different.”"
It’s been rumored that the group will make it to the Alexandria safe zone in season 5, but not without paying the price of another beloved cast member. Daryl Dixon, Maggie Green and Tyreese have all been rumored to be characters who could die in the second half of the season, and Andrew Lincoln didn’t calm those fears by describing what was filmed as ‘scary’ and ‘thrilling’.
Of course, the second half of the fifth season has a lot to live up to, so we wouldn’t expect anything less than scary and thrilling as the series winds down this year.
The Walking Dead will return with new episodes on February 8, 2015, only on AMC and AMCTV.
