The title of the episode is a bit helpful in trying to figure out if we will be depressed by the end of the night or not. It’s the synopsis that gives us a little bit better of a picture into what the episode will be about. That synopsis was released recently and it actually provides a little bit of a hopeful outlook.
Here’s a look at the synopsis for the midseason premiere of The Walking Dead, in case you missed it:
"“After all the recent trials the group has faced, a slight detour might prove to be the solution they’ve been looking for.”"
Now — what does that all mean? The synopsis seems to hint at the group making their way to the Alexandria Safe-Zone, which is something that is going to be a theme the final eight episodes of the season as hope is needed now more than ever.
Will they reach the Safe-Zone — or a better question is will everyone make it to the Safe-Zone alive? Either way, the synopsis for the midseason premiere of The Walking Dead hints at some hope which his exactly what the show needs right now.
